Swim, canoe, kayak or cast a line for legendary pan fish on Battle Lake. Borrow a fishing kit from the park office. Bike the paved Glendalough Trail loop or hike the scenic Beaver Pond Interpretive Trail.
Big Fish Kayak Rental
Rent kayaks, stand-up paddle board, tubes, and Maui Mats just in between Battle Lake and Ottertail.
ABC Brewing
A family-friendly brewery where you can enjoy wood-fire pizza and drinks while kids can play on the pirateship playground and yard games. You can also schedule a pedal pub for a 2 hour ride around Battle Lake with friends!

The cabin is a quick 6 minute drive to downtown Ottertail. You can stop by Carr's Lake Country Supermarket for groceries and be sure to try their famous caramel rolls during your stay. ​​

In the Summer, pick up fresh beignets from the food truck across from Beach Bums Eatery on the beach, they are open 8am to 1pm Monday through Saturdays!

If you have a rainy day, Otter Cove Children’s museum is a super unique play place for kids to explore in Fergus Falls, MN about 30 minutes away. The library in Fergus also has lots of fun kid attractions to keep them busy!
